 Does it matter that the RLDS/COC proclaim a different Jesus?
Does it matter that the RLDS/COC continues to uphold Joseph Smith as a prophet of God? Does it matter that homosexuals can leave the gay lifestyle? Does it matter that the RLDS/COC avoids the atonement and crucifixion of Jesus? Does it matter that no evidence exists to support the Book of Mormon as scripture? Does it matter that the RLDS/COC scriptures contradict each other? Does it matter that Jesus is the Christian church's only High Priest? Does it matter if the RLDS/COC teaches New Age practices? Does it matter if Joseph Smith stands between you and Jesus? Does truth matter? Yes! It matters so much that Jesus went to the cross and died for you. Embracing truth results in eternal life with God, rejecting truth results in an eternity without God. We at Life Line Ministries take no pleasure in exposing and documenting the false teachings of Joseph Smith. We only do so out of deep concern for souls. We do not oppose individuals, but the false gospels they preach. Most of the epistles in the New Testament were written to combat heretical teachings that crept into the early church. False doctrine is explained thoroughly and repeatedly. Almost the entire book of Galatians is devoted to describing and combating a false gospel. In reality, we are only following the Biblical injunction to speak the truth in love (Eph. 4:15) while obeying the admonition of Jude 3 to “earnestly contend for the faith once for all delivered to the saints.” Our only motive is to expose unbiblical doctrines that masquerade as genuine Christianity, doctrines which lead people away from the Jesus of the Bible and the salvation only He can give. “Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth?” Gal. 4:16  |
